2024
Introduction of the chemical brand & recognition as an employer
In 2023, vapic GmbH took over the production of the chemical products that had been produced by Grund Oberflächentechnik since 2001. A new trademark for vapic chemicals has been registered for the future. The “chemeco” brand was created. Chemeco represents a balance between chemicals and sustainability.
The company was also honoured for the first time as a “dream company” with the Dream Company Award. The award is based on a systematic, anonymously conducted employee survey.
Employees confirmed that this is a special employer from the very first survey onwards.
2020
Great expansion in Neubulach, doubling of space
In 2020, the space at the Neubulach headquarters was doubled to 8,100 m². The new expansion provides space for plant construction and contract cleaning. The new chemical area, including the warehouse, production hall and chemical laboratory, will also be integrated. This means that the area planned for the site in 2009 has been completely built on.
2017
An employee's wish to return home led to the founding of vapic Hungary Kft.
Imre Rigo started working as a welder for the construction of the cleaning plants in 2012. It quickly became clear that this was an employee one could only hope to have on one’s team. We kept Imre on, and he kept on developing. He participated in many service assignments, improving his comprehension process engineering has grown. When he announced that he wanted to return to his home country – Hungary – back in 2017, Reiner Wolf acted immediately by founding vapic Hungary Kft. Imre's wife Nora Rigo-Szasz acquired the commercial basics, and the couple set off for Hungary. vapic Hungary Kft. now produces racks and containers for the cleaning plants as a wholly owned subsidiary of vapic GmbH.
2015
Celebrating of the company's 20th anniversary with an open house day
The company's 20th anniversary is celebrated extensively – with many activities for employees and their families and delicious catering.
2014
Award: Amongst the best in the rural area
vapic wins the competition “Amongst the best in the rural area – technology leader for Baden-Württemberg”
2013
Construction of an extension
The previously available hall space is doubled by the extension and is now available for plant construction and contract cleaning.
2009
Relocation to Neubulach-Oberhaugstett and first trainees
The company moves into its new location in Neubulach-Oberhaugstett. The new contract cleaning division is being set up there. The first two young people start their training as mechatronics engineers.
2005-2006
Change of name to vapic GmbH and relocation of the company headquarters to Wildberg-Effringen
Wolf GmbH becomes vapic GmbH, where vapic stands for “vacuum and pressure industrial cleaner”. The company also moves to Wildberg-Effringen.
2003
European patent for energy-saving process technology
Wolf GmbH is granted a European patent (No. EP 1038 992. 2002) for energy-saving process engineering and the apparatus for its application.
Market launch and sale of the first vapic solvent plant.
2002
Expansion of the range of services
The range of services is being expanded to include plants from other manufacturers. The “vapic-group” is set up as a flexible, efficient corporate network with synergetically cooperating companies without corporate links.
1996
Founding of Wolf GmbH
Previously a single entrepreneur, the enterprise is converted into a limited liability company. A cooperation agreement with Thomas Wurster (now Head of Design) doubles capacity.
1995
Founding of “Reiner Wolf – Technical Service”
Founding of the one-man company “Reiner Wolf – Technischer Dienst” as a service provider for cleaning plants, servicing, retrofitting of vacuum distillers, and additional vacuum distillers as well as for conversions.
