17 new colleagues on board – acquisition of Sporer PCS GmbH
On 1 January 2026, we acquired Sporer Parts Cleaning Solutions GmbH from Mühlental (Saxony).
The integration of Sporer PCS will strengthen our market position in the field of small and medium-sized aqueous cleaning systems and also expand our production capacities. After around ten years in business, Saxony-based Sporer PCS became insolvent and will now continue as the vapic site in Vogtland.
For our managing director Samuel Wolf, the main focus of the takeover is on preserving the former Sporer PCS GmbH: "From the outset, it was important to us to secure the jobs of the 17 employees and to make a clear commitment to Germany as a business location. Furthermore, we want to continue to make Sporer's proven products available to the market," he emphasises. At the same time, he highlights the strategic importance of the acquisition: "Sporer has a high level of technical expertise and solutions that complement our existing range in a meaningful way." By taking on the experienced team, vapic benefits from this know-how. "We are delighted to have gained a competent and experienced site manager in Michael Schmetzer. We want to build on these strengths in a targeted manner and not lose them."
Michael Schmetzer, former managing director of Sporer GmbH, also sees the takeover as forward-looking: "The last few years have been challenging. This makes it all the more important to have found a partner in vapic who recognises the substance of the company and will continue to run it. For employees and customers, this means continuity and reliable prospects."
In addition to the existing Sporer PCS systems, customers now also have access to complex water-based and solvent-based cleaning systems, an extensive range of chemicals and contract cleaning services, which will also be established at the Vogtland site if there is sufficient interest.
The takeover is another forward-looking step towards realising our vision of becoming THE synonym for parts cleaning.
Sporer will be integrated into our structures step by step according to a carefully worked out phased plan. The aim is to harmoniously interlink processes, teams and technologies and ensure a stable transition for customers and employees. As a first step, the entire team visited us on 8 January. The focus was on a detailed tour of the company and getting to know the various contact persons and interfaces.
We look forward to a successful future together and warmly welcome the new team members.

The vapic product range will in future include: aqueous continuous cleaning systems for cleaning, rinsing and drying processes, front-loading cleaning systems and top-loading systems in a 2-tank design, which can be precisely adapted to customer-specific requirements.
