Platinum sponsorship for the Pforzheim Wildlife Park

We are sending a strong signal for nature and animal protection: with a platinum sponsorship for the raccoons, we are supporting the Pforzheim Wildlife Park with an annual fixed contribution to sustainably promote the species-appropriate keeping and care of the animals as well as measures to optimise the enclosure.

The cute raccoons Walter, Gudrun, Trude and Herbert benefit from this. The funding ensures the high quality of their care so that the animals can grow up healthy and live out their natural behaviour. The new visitor centre is also co-financed by the sponsorship.

Our Managing Director Samuel Wolf explains why we are supporting the Pforzheim Wildlife Park: "The Wildlife Park is an important place for the region that not only protects animals, but also promotes community, education and recreation - and is freely accessible to visitors of all ages. It is therefore important to us to preserve this unique highlight and the loving animal care for the future. As a family business, we realise how important responsible action, a sense of community and sustainability are for preserving the future."

The raccoons are at the centre of the sponsorship. There are also reasons for this: "The raccoon has been our mascot for a long time. It embodies characteristics that also characterise us at vapic: Cleverness, adaptability and cleanliness." Samuel Wolf also sees parallels between the animal's cleanliness and the precise cleaning of components with the company's machines. But that's not all: "The raccoon adapts flexibly to its environment. We are also constantly adapting our processes and products to the dynamic requirements of the market. We are constantly on the lookout for the best solution, which we customise to meet the needs of our customers."

Wildlife park manager Carsten Schwarz, who oversees the sponsorship at the wildlife park, expressed his sincere thanks: "Sponsorships like vapic's make it possible to secure the work at the wildlife park in the long term and maintain the high quality of animal husbandry. At the same time, sponsorships allow us to publicise the importance of nature and species conservation in the region. They help to ensure that future generations can also experience the beauty and diversity of our nature."

For this reason, the sponsorship is designed as a long-term project. Anyone who would like to experience the sponsored children and life in the family-friendly wildlife park first-hand can take advantage of the summer season and pay a visit to the enclosure. You can also follow regular updates on the wildlife park and the raccoons with exciting insights and developments on our social media. This keeps the community close to the park even when it's not open.
